Led Zeppelin History – Sept 21

Today in 1983 Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones played the ARMS multiple sclerosis charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The event was organized by bassist Ronnie Lane (The Small Faces), himself an MS casualty. This event featured a star-studded lineup of British musicians, including Page, Jones, Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Steve Winwood, Bill Wyman, Kenney Jones and Charlie Watts. This was the first time Clapton, Beck and Page, each a former lead guitarist for The Yardbirds, had performed together on stage.
