Led Zeppelin History – Dec 11

Today in 1969 Zeppelin’s worldwide record sales were recognized with a presentation of gold and platinum discs by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of State, at London’s Savoy Hotel. They were similarly honored again on October 16, 1970.

Also today, in 1973, Jimmy Page’s mountain-climbing sequences for the movie The Song Remains the Same were filmed at Loch Ness.
