Led Zeppelin History – April 11

Today in 2010 rare video clips of Led Zeppelin’s earliest known live recordings surfaced online. The clips from the band’s first tour of America were from a Dec 30, 1968 show at the Kennedy Pavilion at Gonzaga University in Washington, and included “Dazed and Confused” and “How Many More Times”.

This was only Zeppelin’s fifth concert performance in the U.S. They were opening for Vanilla Fudge, and were still so obscure that they were billed as “Len Zefflin” in the concert ad.
